I had a wonderful experience today at Gibsons as I always do. I frequent this bookstore maybe once a month and the people inside are always very helpful. They are always willing to help me find the book I'm looking for or order it if it is not on the Shelf. Today in particular the woman that helped me was awesome. I popped it on my lunch break which is only 30 minutes and explained that I was looking for a book and was in a bit of a hurry. The woman that was helping me worked very quickly to find the book and solicited the help of another employee when we were having trouble finding it. After locating the book she let me know I could check out on the other end of the store where the exit I needed to leave through was located. She was extremely helpful and I got my book and was back to work and time to also eat my lunch. Very impressed by their customer service and selection!
Lovely (and big!) Independent bookstore with a tasty little sandwich and coffee shop inside as well. They have a great selection of both adult and kid books, plus a well curated section of gently used books. There are many little gift items as well, making it a great one-stop shop for birthdays or holidays. They will also order any book you're looking for and it's usually delivered in just a couple of days. The kids section also includes a great selection of Legos, Playmobile, arts and crafts, science and other fun toys (again, making it my go-to for presents!) Finally, while I haven't been able to attend any, I love the different author events that are routinely offered.

Just a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. They have a huge selection and the staff is so friendly and helpful. When you check out there is no pressure to buy the "item of the week" or magazine subscriptions like they do at BAM. I will be a customer for life. Thank you for giving Concord the gift of this amazing, independent bookstore!
Love this local bookstore. It has everything the large chain book stores have, a cafe, a kid's section including toys, etc. The main difference for me is that I know I am supporting a local small business! They often have local authors that come in and do book signings as well as some big name authors. You can spend 5 min there or have a seat and spend 3 hours there looking through the 1000's of books for sale. The newer building just down the street from their old location is so nice, modern, and larger!
