It does the job. Wish bakery and had area to eat lunch like other Market Basket locations. Market Basket should strongly consider an App like other grocers giving you coupons and savings
This supermarket chain use to be top notch but last couple of years they have been steadily going downhill. The meats here use to be the best and now I wont even buy the chicken because its so nasty. Steaks and hamburg are still pretty good. Regular everyday items are out of stock all the time you never know if you will be able to get the items you need. I always have to check the expiration dates on every item because the stockers don't rotate the stock they just throw the newest stuff in front. I have to check my receipt every time because they are always charging wrong prices. Bathroom is always disgusting. My groceries are always bagged improperly such as can goods in with fresh vegetables and meats with bread etc. They LOAD the bags way too heavy (my name is not hulk hogan) and the bags end up ripping and the handles break apart as you are carrying it.
Good prices. Friendly employees. Found everything needed. Would like to see more cash registers opened.
