Prior to moving back to our home state of Alaska a few weeks ago, my wife and I attended Trinity Baptist Church for 13 years and have seen many changes. Some of the changes were great and some were difficult. We pray for Trinity and the leadership team often. Many of our friends attend there and continue to be blessed by this ministry.
In a March 24, 2017 TBC newsletter the current lead pastor of TBC recommended the gospel coalition website for matters of "cultural discernment." Pastoral staff have regularly attended gospel coalition and T4G conferences over the last several years and the negative effects on the ministry of TBC have been noticeable including their Sunday school program, sermons and church attendance. People can argue pros and cons, but when 450 members leave over the past 8 - 9 years, that pretty much says it all.

I attended Trinity for a number of years and I know it to be a place where truth and love abide. Nearly all the attendees were kind and caring, and the pastoral staff was wonderful. Without their kindness and excellent counsel, my marriage would have ended. These are quality people who teach, believe and live the Word of God. We have moved from the area, but were truly blessed while attending Trinity. Try it for yourself.
