It took several years of requesting the Express checkouts at the East entrance be staffed throughout daily store hours that they finally installed the Speedy checkouts! Next problem? During the evening store hours, the Speedy checkouts are shut down! When I asked why, I was told by an employee that they don't have enough staff that have knowledgeable experience with them to monitor them. Seriously? As I walked toward the exit, I mumbled to myself, "Train your employees!" As I approached the exit, I see the rug and realize this is an accident waiting to happen. It has a ripple in the middle and the other end looks like it's going to get stuck in the door. I took pictures!
During my visit on August 8, 2017, between 8:00 to 9:00PM, this is my experience.
More than once they have brought scooters from other parts of the store if one wasn't readily available at the door I was at.
For a superstore, this one does go out of their way to help.
The staff is always helpful. I am disabled and normally use a walker when shopping because most places don't keep up on the maintenance and charging of their scooters. The Concord Walmart staff keep right on top of them though.
Wow, this place has been organized and is neat. I had boycotted this store for a long time because it was usually a mess inside and they had long register lines with only a few open. They had almost every one open and a great self service checkout for those that wanted it and a nice gal to help. I will definitely go again!
I have NEVER had a good experience here! Today, I called Tim in electrics..waited 10 minutes on the phone well he looked to check if what I needed was in stock. Told that YES it was! I left work drove there in the pouring rain....to be told NO they did not have it in stock!!! I said I just called....so they said oh yeah we have them in the front at the wireless area.... Great opens at 10! They employee for that area was over 10 minutes late. TO BE TOLD AGAIN THEY DID NOT HAVE IT!!!!! Learn to do your job TIM!!!!
If Walmart company treated their employees with respect and dignity, paid a living wage, offered employees affordable health care insurance and a 401K, they just might be able to meet the demand for staff while offering them incentives and career options! Corporate greed hurts good people and our communities! Employees cannot meet their financial obligations, let alone spend money on goods, services, entertainment and other desires that would help boost our economy.
Always busy. Not enough cashier's. They are trying to promote the self serve scanners. Some people like to have real interaction. The kiosks don't always work correctly.
