Unpleasantly surprised! We love this place, but when we walked in today and on the way to the restaurant, I politely said hello to the receptionist behind the counter, who looked right at me, and she didn't even respond! Really? You can't even greet a guest? You don't know if we are there for a day or a week. On the other hand, the gentleman at the Granite Restaurant was the epitome of a gentleman. Very accommodating. Not going to throw the baby out with the bath water, but maybe they need to be a little more selective on who is in the public eye. This is my first negative experience here, hopefully, my last.
Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. I especially appreciated being able to order half portions of everything including wine, salad, entrees, and desserts.
The entire staff at the hotel was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean, updated, and well equipped. I would suggest this hotel for anyone visiting the Concord area.

Fantastic hotel with great service and beautiful, large rooms. If ever I am up in Concord again I will absolutely want to stay here again. I'm sad I only stayed here one night. The rooms were clean and wonderful.
